Have you ever wondered what steps need to be taken with Visual to prepare for an upgrade? This session will review that steps necessary to secure and prepare you database for upgrade, how to get the latest version of Visual, and some advice about the test environment you should setup to ensure a smooth process. We will cover how to properly determine the version you're running now, how to find the latest version from Infor, how to plan your upgrade and test environments, how to backup your database, how to run costing utilities and more. This session is intended for IT professionals, but could be attended by anyone with basic familiarity of Windows Server in a business environment.
