Are your processes being followed? Do you often wonder where in the review process things are waiting? Visual Workflow, Activities and Notifications can help to keep everyone on the same page. We will cover the Workflow Designer, Task Maintenance, Workflow Tracker, Activity creation and Activity Maintenance as well as Purchase Order and Customer Order Notifications. This session applies to anyone interested in understanding the options for communication and process enforcement and tracking available within Visual. New Features from Version 9/10 will be covered!

This workshop is designed to introduce the IT staff member to the structure and deployment of basic to advanced macro concepts. “Hands-on” learning will be supported by having attendees develop their own working macros. Bring your macro problems and work them out. This course will require the active use of a laptop; further instructions will be sent to those attending. Prerequisites include working knowledge of scripting with VBScript, SQL queries and some familiarity with the VISUAL schema.

Did you know that in VISUAL 9 you can create VISUAL Dashboards using custom data sets? This is a hands on workshop that will walk you through the steps needed to create your own custom VISUAL Dashboard. Participants will setup an example custom dashboard, from creating the Data Source through editing and adding Custom Grids and Analytics. Attendees will leave with an understanding of how to apply what they learned to create additional custom dashboards on their own. Prior experience with VISUAL Dashboards is not required, but attendees should have a basic foundational knowledge of relational database tables and joins.

Want to learn how to install Visual Manufacturing and SQL Server? With this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to install SQL Server and Visual Manufacturing starting from an up to date install of Windows Server. We'll start with how to install SQL Server, configure it to work with Visual, then install Visual Manufacturing and configure it to work with our SQL Server. In the process we'll create a blank database, connect to it, and configure it to receive data. This workshop is aimed at in-house IT, but could be beneficial anyone with basic familiarity of Windows Server in a business environment who wants to learn how to setup their own Visual system.

Want to install and try out Shop Floor Mobile? In this workshop, learn how to install Shop Floor Mobile, starting with an updated Windows server. You'll learn how to install and configure IIS for Shop Floor Mobile, and how to install and configure Shop Floor Mobile for use with your Visual database. We'll cover how to set the initial settings so you can try it out for yourself. This workshop is designed for in-house IT, but any professional with basic familiarity of Windows Server in a business environment that wants to learn how to setup the back end of Shop Floor Mobile could attend.
